The bait plays the most important role in fishing. The fishing bait differs very much from one technique to another. However, the principle is pretty much the same. The fish is attracted by the bait, tries to swallow it and gets hooked. The fishing line that is attached to the rod typically features a single hook that is found at the end of the line. On the other hand, some people use a technique that is named long-line fishing. This technique involves a very long line to which are attached several hundreds or even thousands of hooks. All these hooks have fishing bait attached to them. This strategy increases both the chance to catch fish and the actual quantity of fish that is caught.
