More recently, several fishing equipment producers have started to make lures that glow in the dark. This makes fishing at night a lot easier. In addition, fishermen must know that the efficiency of a certain fishing lure is determined by how close to real fish prey it is. Factors that make the lure look more realistic are the movement and the shape. Flies may also be used for the same purpose. These either float on the water or sink very slowly, in order to attract the fish.
